Our Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) objective is to treat aquatic weeds in Indian Lake such as Hydrilla verticilatta as needed to prevent adverse effects on water quality.
The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management (DEM) has broad responsibilities for environmental protection and nature resource management within the State. DEM is leading the effort to remediate AIS from Indian Lake.
